Detailed Product Description
BS03 is a fixed gas detector installed in a place where potential gas hazard exists to measure oxygen, toxic gas and combustible gas. It shows not only the concentration of gas but also diagnostic result of the unit itself through the LED screen and LED lights and can be connected to the control panel with a standard 4-20mA analog output.
It is applicable to explosion-proof places: Steelworks, Petrochemical plants, Shipyards, Watertreatment plants, Mines, Power plants, Food industry etc.
Fixed Gas Detector Key Feature
- Interchangeable smart sensor module
- Intrinsically safe
- Built-in sampling pump (optional)
- Visual, audible and vibration alarm
- Adjustable alarm levels and span calibration values
- Password management
- Self-test after power on
- Self-diagnostic and self-correction function
- Real-time clock
Catalytic
Combustion Sensor Principle
1. Principle: The
principle of using the heat released by the combustion reaction of combustible
gas on its surface, that is, the temperature of the platinum wire coil
increases due to combustion, and the resistance value of the coil increases.
The concentration of the combustible gas can be known by measuring the change
in the resistance value of the platinum wire, which is suitable for measuring
low-concentration combustible gas.
2. Advantages: The
performance is relatively stable. Most combustible gases can be measured by
catalytic combustion sensors. The measurement is very linear and the cost is
lower than that of electrochemical sensors.
3. Disadvantages:
The process conditions are strict. Dust particles and droplets that affect the
life and treatment efficiency of the catalyst are not allowed in the exhaust
gas, and substances that poison the catalyst are not allowed to prevent
catalyst poisoning.
4. Use: Mainly
used to detect more combustible gases.
