How does the basket sedimentation device work?
During the rainwater collection process, rainwater first enters the Interceptor Hanging Basket Sedimentation Unit. A carry basket and filter screen within the unit intercepts the larger solid pollutants in the rainwater and settles them at the bottom of the basket. At the same time, clear water flows through the filter screen and into subsequent rainwater collection and treatment equipment. Over time, the sediment inside the basket will gradually increase, at which point the basket can be lifted and cleaned of sediment and debris by means of a carrying handle.
