Detailed Product Description
The turbidity online sensor uses 90 degree infrared light scattering with calibration, recording, analysis and diagnostics. The sensor adopts RS485 interface and standard Modbus protocol.
Turbidity sensor working principle
The infrared light scattering technique, whereby a light beam illuminates the sample solution and is scattered by particles in the solution, is shown in the diagram below, where the angle between the emitted light from the infrared light source and the detector light is 90 ° (ISO 7027). The intensity of the light received by the detector is related to the turbidity of the water being measured, so that the turbidity of the water being measured can be calculated by measuring the intensity of the scattered light.
