The use of alcohol detectors usually includes the following steps:
1.Power-on self-test:
Press the power switch and the alcohol tester performs an internal self-test and preheat, and displays a countdown from 200 to 0, lasting about 20 seconds.
2.Prepare for test:
After the self-test is completed, the device will give a voice prompt, the green indicator is on, and the yellow indicator in the center is blinking, indicating that the device is normal and can start the test.
3.Blow detection:
Align the test tube with the air inlet and blow evenly for about 4 seconds. When the breathalyzer detects alcohol, it emits a buzzer, flashes red and green lights at the same time, and displays density data after 4 seconds.
4.Read the result:
Determine the alcohol content according to the displayed data. When the concentration is 0.00 to 0.40, only the green indicator flashes; When the concentration is 0.50 or higher, only a red light flashes and an alarm is issued.
