BX171 is a disposable portable single gas detector that can detect H2S, CO and O2 with small size and firm configuration. It is mainly intended for individual used to detect a confined space or the working environment where dangerous gases existed and harm to personal safety. It is normally clipped on belt, lapel or breast pocket.
It can be widely used in the oil and gas industries, steelworks, chemical plant, mining,marine, power plants, sewage treatment plant, environmental protection, city construction, labs etc.

Sensor Principle
1. Principle:
Using the active
chemical properties of the gas to be measured, it has reducing or oxidizing
properties. In the process of participating in the chemical reaction, electrons
are released or absorbed. A large number of electrons form a current. The
current size is proportional to the gas concentration. The concentration of the
gas to be measured can be measured by measuring the current size.
2. Advantages:
The performance is
relatively stable. Most toxic and harmful gases can be measured by
electrochemical sensors, and the measurement linearity is very good.
3. Disadvantages:
Electrochemical
sensors are consumables with a relatively short service life. The service life
is 1-2 years in general environment, and needs to be replaced every 3-6 months
in harsh environment. The maintenance cost is relatively high.
