Here are some steps to replace the filter. The specific operation may vary depending on the gas detector model and manufacturer. Therefore, before replacing the filter, be sure to consult the instrument manual or contact the manufacturer for accurate operation instructions.

1. Prepare tools
Prepare screwdrivers, tweezers or other small tools as needed to remove and install the filter.

2. Turn off the instrument
Before replacing the filter, make sure the gas detector is turned off and unplugged (if applicable) to prevent accidental startup or risk of electric shock during the replacement process.

3. Find the filter position
Consult the instrument manual to determine the specific location of the filter. Usually, the filter is located near the air inlet and is used to filter impurities and particulate matter from the gas entering the instrument.

4. Remove the old filter
Use the appropriate tool and follow the instructions in the manual to gently remove the old filter. Be careful not to use excessive force to avoid damaging the instrument or parts around the filter.

5. Clean the installation area
Before installing the new filter, use a soft cloth or cotton swab to gently clean the installation area to remove any dust or impurities.

6. Install the new filter
Place the new filter in the installation area in the correct direction (if there is a direction requirement). Make sure the filter completely covers the air inlet and is not misplaced or twisted.
Use an appropriate tool (such as a screwdriver) to secure the filter in place. Be careful not to overtighten to avoid damaging the filter or the instrument.

7. Check the installation
After installation, carefully check that the filter is firmly installed and not loose or misplaced. At the same time, check that the air inlet is completely covered to ensure that there is no air leakage.

8. Restart the instrument
After confirming that the filter is installed correctly, reconnect the power supply (if applicable) and restart the gas detector according to the instructions in the manual.

9. Perform a functional test
After the instrument is restarted, it is recommended to perform a functional test to verify whether the filter replacement is successful. The instrument's response can be checked by simulating gas detection, etc.
