Portable Gas Detector Description
E6000 is a portable model with multiple gas detectors. It can continuously measure the concentrations of up to six combustible gases, oxygen, and toxic gases in the surrounding environment, and issue an alarm when the gas levels are abnormal.It adopts interchangeable smart sensor modules, easy to replace the sensors and maintenance.It is applicable to explosion-proof places: teelworks, petrochemical plant, oil industry, shipbuilding yard, sewage treatment plant, mine, power supply works etc.
Electrochemical Sensor Principle
1. Principle:
Using the active
chemical properties of the gas to be measured, it has reducing or oxidizing
properties. In the process of participating in the chemical reaction, electrons
are released or absorbed. A large number of electrons form a current. The
current size is proportional to the gas concentration. The concentration of the
gas to be measured can be measured by measuring the current size.
2. Advantages:
The performance is
relatively stable. Most toxic and harmful gases can be measured by
electrochemical sensors, and the measurement linearity is very good.
3. Disadvantages:
Electrochemical
sensors are consumables with a relatively short service life. The service life
is 1-2 years in general environment, and needs to be replaced every 3-6 months
in harsh environment. The maintenance cost is relatively high.

It is mainly used
for the detection of toxic and harmful gases.
