AT800 is a digital portable alcohol tester that quickly checks for the presence of alcohol, which is compatiable with smartphone App. It's lightweight, compact, and easy to use. Simply blow into the unit and within seconds the OLED displays the digital readout.

Breathalyzer Principle

The fuel cell alcohol tester uses the fuel cell alcohol sensor as a gas sensor, which belongs to the electrochemical type, so it is also called the electrochemical type. Fuel cell is an environmentally friendly energy which is widely studied all over the world. It can convert combustible gas directly into electricity without pollution. Being an alcohol sensor is just one branch of a fuel cell. The fuel cell alcohol sensor uses the precious metal platinum as the electrode, and the combustion chamber is filled with a special catalyst, which can make the alcohol entering the combustion chamber fully burn into electrical energy, that is, a voltage is generated on the two electrodes, and the electrical energy is consumed on the external load. This voltage is proportional to the alcohol concentration of the gas entering the combustion chamber, which is the basic working principle of the fuel cell breathalyzer.
