E6000 is a portable model with multiple gas detectors. It can continuously measure the concentrations of up to six combustible gases, oxygen, and toxic gases in the surrounding environment, and issue an alarm when the gas levels are abnormal.It adopts interchangeable smart sensor modules, easy to replace the sensors and maintenance.It is applicable to explosion-proof places: teelworks, petrochemical plant, oil industry, shipbuilding yard, sewage treatment plant, mine, power supply works etc.

Portable Gas Detector Working Principle
Gas detectors can be divided into electrochemical gas detectors, infrared gas detectors, thermal magnetic gas detectors, semiconductor gas detectors, ultraviolet gas detectors, etc. according to the principle of gas sensors.

The model of this product is E6000, and the gas sensor type is an electrochemical sensor. Its working principle is that the gas diffuses into the sensor, reaches the working electrode through the back of the porous membrane, and is oxidized or reduced on the working electrode. The electrochemical reaction generates a current, which passes through the external circuit. In addition to measuring, amplifying, and performing other signal processing functions, the external circuit also maintains the voltage across the sensor (for a two-electrode sensor, the voltage is between the working electrode and the counter electrode; for a three-electrode cell, the voltage is between the working electrode and the reference electrode). At the counter electrode, a reaction of equal magnitude and opposite direction occurs, that is, if the working electrode is an oxidation reaction, the counter electrode is a reduction reaction.
